Company History

Willow Nannies & Maternity is owned and run by Lizzie Petersen.

After 10 years working as both Nanny and a Maternity Nurse, in London, England and Overseas, Lizzie felt it was time to challenge herself in a slightly different respect, and on the back of that, 'Willow' was born. 

While in the process of creating and developing Willow, Lizzie found out she was pregnant.  Lizzie understands on a personal level what it means  to trust someone with your child and has put in place a stringent screening process which ensures only candidates of the highest calibre are taken on to her books.

What makes Willow unique is that Lizzie has a mutual respect for both the families and candidates and works extremely hard to match the two together.  She not only knows what it is like to be out there finding work and what she expected from a nanny agency when doing so, but also can see from a parents perspective what it means to find that perfect person to care for their children and is sensitive to this.
