Our candidates
All our candidates are thoroughly interviewed and screened ensuring they hold the relevant qualifications and/or experience as well as providing proof that they are eligible to stay and work here in the UK or overseas and have, or are in the process of getting, a first aid certificate and DBS check.
Our candidates must be fluent in English and reflect the values and qualities which Willow knows parents rely on when is comes to finding their perfect childcare solution.
We aim to only take on candidates who are experienced, hardworking, reliable, honest and unflappable and most importantly can provide a kind, nurturing, stimulating environment, which your children can thrive in. We want to provide you with a Nanny who will fit into family life and that you feel you can have a healthy working relationship with.
Our service
Willow listens carefully to your requirements and works hard at creating an open and honest relationship which optimises our chances of finding your childcare solution quickly and efficiently.

Lizzie will cover what you think are essential qualities in a potential candidate, a break down of exactly how Willow goes about finding the perfect candidate, how Willow can help to optimise your chances of finding someone quickly, and general tips on interviewing, contracts, tax, insurance etc. If Willow can help in any way get in touch by either phoning 0796 676 6681 or by filling out a contact form.
What happens next?
We will then advertise your position to attract as many high calibre candidates as possible, who will be interviewed and screened by Lizzie, before putting together a shortlist of potential candidates which best meet your requirements.
You will be emailed their CVs and a general overview of the candidates and if you decide you would like to proceed with an interview, just let Willow know and Lizzie will be more than happy to arrange an interview for you. Willow will then discuss any feedback you may have on the candidate and if you would like to arrange a second interview then again we are more than happy to do so.
If you find what you are looking for, Willow will help tie up any lose ends, offer advice on contracts, tax and insurance as well as offering ongoing support.
If none of the candidates Willow puts forward are suitable, we will continue to look for and supply you with appropriate candidates until you are satisfied with your choice.
Willow is at your side 100% of the way. There really is no question too big or too small which Lizzie would not be happy to answer for you.

Willow is an approachable nanny agency which works hard to build a personal and supportive relationship with all its candidates.
Where do I start?
Nannies with 2 + years full time experience, checkable references and who are fluent in English, are very much in demand and Willow would love to hear from you!

If you meet our criteria then you will be invited in for an interview to discuss. During the interview you will be asked a range of questions from child development knowledge, to discipline techniques, to cooking/driving/multi tasking abilities, previous experience and nanny duties, what you feel is important to maintain a healthy working relationship with parents, what you're looking for in your next job...
Willow works extremely hard to match its candidates with families first time, so we do a very thorough interview which gives us a clear, concise understanding of a candidate.
What happens next?
Once you have been interviewed and screened and you meet Willows high standards, then Lizzie will contact you personally and a Nanny Welcome Pack, containing a quick overview of the company and some tips and advice which may come in handy will be sent out to you.
Lizzie will phone you and go through any jobs that she thinks would suit you. Please don't feel you have to say yes to any of the jobs suggested - if the job doesn't sound like something you are interested in, then please don't be afraid to say so.
Interviews with potential families
If you do decide you would like to be put forward for a job, then Willow will pass on your CV and an information overview document to the potential family. If the family decide they would like to interview you, then I will arrange that on your behalf at a time that suits both parties.
Please keep Willow informed of any interviews you arrange and remember if you have any queries - however big or small then do not hesitate to ask.
Ongoing support
Once you have been successfully placed, Willow will continue to provide ongoing support. This comes in many forms. Willow will put you in touch with any other nannies that are known in the area, advise on insurance, let you know of local children's classes and activities, discuss any problems with the job should they arise and generally make ourselves available to answer any questions you may have.
If you are not successfully placed first time, don't worry! We will continue to work with you to help find you that perfect job.
During the time you are looking for a job, Willow will endeavour to touch base with you on a weekly basis, keeping you informed of new jobs that come in. Please do keep us updated from your end as well.
