Full Time Nanny – Hammersmith, W6 (Live In or Live Out)

A warm and busy family of five based in Hammersmith (W6) are seeking a highly reliable, organised and proactive nanny to care primarily for their 5-year-old son, Freddie. This is a long-term role within a welcoming household, ideally suited to a nanny looking to become a valued part of the family for the years to come.

Freddie attends Ravenscourt Park Prep School during the week, and the role will involve supporting his full daily routine, including school drop-offs and pick-ups, organising engaging activities, supporting with homework, arranging playdates, and preparing healthy meals. The family also have two older children who stay every other weekend.

Due to demanding work and travel schedules, both parents are looking for a nanny who can provide consistency, flexibility and stability for Freddie. This includes being available for occasional overnight care, proxy parenting when required, and adapting to last-minute changes where needed.

Duties will include:

• Morning routine and school drop-off
• School pick-up (between 3–5pm depending on clubs)
• Organising playdates, activities and outings
• Supporting with homework and evening routine
• Cooking for Freddie
• Managing all nursery duties (laundry, bedroom, organisation)
• Light household support including liaising with the cleaner, taking deliveries and helping to keep the household running smoothly

Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 7:45am start until approximately 6:30pm
• 2 evenings of babysitting per week (flexible, sometimes 1)
• Occasional weekend support (typically 1–2 weekends per month, approx. 5 hours per day when required)
• Flexibility required for proxy parenting and overnight care

The family are open to both live-in and live-out candidates. A newly renovated bedroom and bathroom (top floor) is available for a live-in nanny, offering a high level of privacy.

The family also spend time in Norfolk during weekends and holidays, and there may be occasional travel (approximately 3–4 trips per year).

They are looking for someone extremely organised, efficient and proactive, with a “can-do” attitude and a genuine willingness to support the family as a whole. Reliability and flexibility are key, alongside warmth, kindness and excellent communication skills.
